Savannah is bringing her passion for yoga and fitness to Puma Yoga as our first Barre instructor! The strengthening and toning that comes from this low impact, small interval style class has amazing results. Savannah was certified at BarreFly Studios in Cleveland and has been helping students build strength and endurance ever since.
But before she fell in love with the challenge of Barre, she became a registered yoga teacher in 2013. As a competitive soccer player, Savannah grew to appreciate how yoga could help her on and off the field. Once she began coaching, she knew she had to go through Yoga Teacher Training at "It's Yoga" in Cincinnati in order to integrate the practice into their training schedule. She knew from her personal practice that all of the strengthening, core work, balance and breath work would enhance her team's performance as much as it did her own.
While she may tout that physical benefits that yoga and barre can bring, she know that it goes much deeper than the surface. Through her practice, Savannah has leared to stay fully in the present moment as her daily practice whether challenging or calming keeps her grounded in complete acceptance of whatever comes up for her on and off the mat. Savannah wishes to share and inspire others through yoga to be the best version of themselves!
POSE SHE IS GRATEFUL FOR
Pigeon/Eka Pada Rajakapotasana: From the transitions to the stillness. Savannah has grown to love the openness and complexity that this pose brings.
