Simply put, Sarah is in love with yoga! Since her first class back in the 90’s, she was hooked. After 10 years of being a student, Sarah decided to take her love for the practice to the next level in 2009, completing her 200-hour teacher certification with the well-respected Marni Task. Sarah teaches yoga for the enjoyment and loves sharing this passion with others.
Her belief is, “yoga is about uniting the breath, body, and mind. It is a beautiful journey inward, which results in outward changes.” Her teaching style is empathic and fun. She has an uncanny ability to meet each student where they are as an individual. This ability stems from her six years of teaching a wide range of classes, including Powerful, Beginners, Outdoor, Prenatal and chair classes for senior citizens. She is committed to her belief that yoga can be accessible to all levels and backgrounds of students.
Sarah's professional experience includes 20 years in social services, first working with adults with severe mental illness and then with marginalized seniors.
Sarah is currently a partner-in-crime with Justin Husher of Old Husher's Farm and full time mom to their 1-year-old son.
