As a 2016 graduate of the 200-hr. Puma Yoga Teacher Training Program, Erin is new to the tribe, but she is a natural teacher at heart. Whether she is sharing knowledge about yoga, biking or any of her other interests, she feels the most fulfilled when teaching others. An avid learner herself, Erin is eager to continue on with her training and yoga-based education.
Yoga brings Erin back to her true self. Tuning in to her breath, listening to her inner-wisdom and feeling her body groove all truly inspire her to continue to grown and learn. Through her personal practice, she feels as though she can let go of judgment and find a sense of peace. It is this type of feeling that she aims to leave her own students with at the end of every class.
Erin listens to the vibe in the classroom to help students get what they need out of their practice. She emphasizes the importance of connecting students to their own breath as a guide for their movements. If you are willing to take pause and tune in, the breath can teach you so much!
POSE SHE IS GRATEFUL FOR
Uttanasana (Standing Forward Fold): It’s humbling. I’m able to let go of tension in my upper back, use the weight of my torso to stretch the hamstrings, close my eyes, and focus on grounding and feeling centered.
